POINT Study

Our office is one of 38 sites nationwide enrolling patients in a clinical research project. If successful, the study will lead to a new kind of stress test that measures blood flow in the heart muscle using ultrasound instead of nuclear contrast. Please ask your cardiologist whether you are eligible, and refer to the following for more information. Patients are required to understand and sign a Consent Form agreeing to participate.

POINT Biomedical is the company manufacturing the ultrasound contrast agent. Patients undergo Nuclear StressTesting as a comparison, a standard test offered by our office.
