1972 Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
1974 Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease.

Director, Department of Cardiology, Peninsula Hospital thru 2004. Chairman, combined Cardiovascular Services Department, Mills-Peninsula Health Services. He has special interest in aerospace medicine, cardiac risk assessment and advanced heart failure therapy.

Dr. Cohen is married, with three children and four grandchildren. He was a professional musician in a former life and plays both jazz and classical piano.
